Job summary

VHA Home HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support pediatric clients in the GTA area, delivering assessments, interventions, and consultations in home and school settings. You will ensure coordinated care with the client care team, promoting independence and using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, planning interventions, and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Valid Driver's License with access to a vehicle.
• Experience in home health care is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide consultation, recommendations and interventions to pediatric clients in homes and schools.
• Coordinate care with client care team and schedule interventions.
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries.

Eligible hires could receive: - Onboarding Enhancement Program - Performance and Quality Incentives - $2,000 Sign-On BonusAs an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools using evidence-based best practice.
