ErinoakKids Center for Treatment and Development in Brampton is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join School Based Rehabilitation Services on a temporary full-time basis through June 25, 2027.

You will perform initial assessments, develop service plans, prescribe equipment, document care, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation in the curriculum under a tiered service model.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • Experience with school age clients is an asset.
  • Experience providing service delivery within a Tiered Model of Service is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management proficiency.
  • An ability to display a high level of initiative.
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Travel is a requirement for these roles.
  • Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle.

  • Consultation to families/caregivers in the home environment for students with complex physical needs regarding accessibility and equipment.

Compensation Range: $45.80 - $53.87/hour

Position Summary:

School Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) provides occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy to students in publicly funded schools from kindergarten to school exit. SBRS clinicians consult with the school team to enable student participation in the school curriculum and school based activities.

Key Responsibilities:
