Shared Health at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the OT Acute Care team for a maternity-leave term (0.1 FTE). In-person, days/evenings/weekends; the role supports planning and delivering client-centered therapy to meet occupational goals.
Applicants must hold a Canadian-entry OT credential, be registered with COTM, and CPR training per policy. MSOT/CAOT membership is preferred. Indicate Indigenous language knowledge as a plus.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
The Occupational Therapist collaborates with clients through assessment, interventions, follow-up, planning and designing of services to meet occupational performance goals, support healthy lifestyles, prevent illness and disability and promote health. Quality client care is supported through continuing professional development, research, quality improvement and promotion of occupational therapy.
This maternity/parental term may expire sooner than the date indicated subject to a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions in Shared Health that combine to equal more than 1.0 FTE.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
