Job summary

VHA Home HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and intervene with pediatric clients in homes and schools across Ontario. You will collaborate with the client care team to develop and monitor plans, ensuring evidence-based, safe care and effective communication.

The role supports both in-person and virtual care, with emphasis on independence and client-centered outcomes. OT degree, OPTO Ontario standing, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing.
• Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in home and school settings.
• Coordinate care with the client care team to plan interventions and schedules.
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries.
• Deliver services in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and quality improvement practices.
• Provide virtual care when appropriate to extend services.

I feel welcome and at home.”View more comments from our clients and their family members.Pay RangeEstimated annual earning potential: $80,000–$130,000.Actual earnings may vary based on availability and service volumesAs an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools using evidence-based best practice.
