Job summary

VHA Home HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and provide interventions for diverse pediatric clients in homes and schools across Ontario.

You will coordinate with the client care team, document progress, and deliver virtual care as needed while supporting independence and quality outcomes with evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized school.
• Licensed with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload.
• Ability to provide virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions in clients' homes and schools.
• Coordinate delivery of care with the client care team.
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries.
• Provide virtual OT services as needed.
• Support continuous quality improvement through evidence-based practice.
