Tall Tree is an award-winning private BC clinic delivering integrated healthcare. We seek an Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessment and treatment in clinic, community, and telehealth settings, collaborating with a diverse team.

Compensation ranges from $118,000 to $130,000+ CAD annually plus a signing bonus up to $5,000. Fee split ranges 52% to 62% depending on experience. Comprehensive onboarding and ongoing professional development included.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice OT in British Columbia.
  • Minimum 2+ years in private practice.
  • Experience with third-party funders (WSBC, ICBC, LTD).
  • Strong evidence-based practice and willingness to teach/mentor.

Responsibilities

Our occupational therapy team benefits from 1:1 mentorship, including report review and optional drop-in office hours, as well as a comprehensive onboarding program designed for both new graduates and clinicians new to private practice.You’llhave the opportunity toparticipatein weekly OT team meetings, where we unpack complex cases, share new interventions, and learn from guest speakers. Our monthly Lunch & Learns, curated by our in-house Director of Education and Learning,covertopics such as neuroplasticity and functional recovery, motivational interviewing in rehab, and advances in concussion management. Each year, we also gather for a staff retreat—part healthcare TED Talk, part lakeside recharge. Plus, through our sister company, AMP Healthcare,you’llhave access to discounted or free continuing education courses to keep your practice evolving.

About the role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Tall Tree, you’ll play a crucial role in redefining healthcare to prioritize holistic well-being and individualized care. You will deliver high-quality assessment and treatment services to clients facing a range of challenges—from mental health issues and physical injuries to brain injuries and work disabilities.

Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and providing services in our clinic, community settings, and through telehealth, you’ll craft personalized therapeutic plans that truly reflect the unique needs of each individual.

Compensation:
Full-time (5 days per week) community-based therapists have the opportunity to earn $118,000–$130,000+ annually, along with a signing bonus of up to $5,000.

Requirements

As an Occupational Therapist at Tall Tree, you will:
  • Evaluate and assess patients using OT frameworks. You’ll develop individualized treatment plans, and provide exceptional care and interventions that are evidence-based, psychologically informed, and patient-centered.
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Psychologists, Clinical Counselors, and more when indicated.
  • Collaborate with third party insurance funders, employers, and other relevant stakeholders. You’ll maintain related reports, records, and statistical data in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Keep growing. You’ll attend OT community of practice meetings and other educational opportunities available at Tall Tree. You’ll stay current with the latest evidence, findings, trends, and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
We’re looking for:
  • Someone qualified to practice Occupational Therapy in British Columbia. You are a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia - with a preference for candidates with 2+ experience in private practice.
  • Comparable experience: You have experience working with third party funders such as WSBC, ICBC and Long Term Disability funders (or provincial equivalents).
