Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Allied Health team in Richmond, BC. You will provide OT services across home, facility, palliative, hospice, group home, and school settings, guided by client-centered care and evidence-based practice.

The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering goal-directed therapy, maintaining records, and contributing to program quality improvement within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and two to three years’ recent related experience.
• Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
• Valid B.C. driver’s license; local travel supported with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
• Assess client’s occupational performance using evidence-based approaches and standardized tools.
• Plan and implement goal-directed services and evaluate effectiveness of the service.
• Prepare and maintain records; participate in research, quality improvement, and education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to program development.
