Job summary

Infinity Health, Canada's largest Indigenous owned healthcare provider, seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a hybrid clinic model spanning clinic and community settings. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support disability management and return-to-work programs.

  • Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for provincial registration
  • Professional liability insurance starting date is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide disability management services within a community-based interdisciplinary care model.
  • Conduct musculoskeletal, psychosocial, cognitive and functional assessments.
  • Perform home safety and home modification assessments.
  • Develop and implement client-centered OT treatment plans focused on physical, cognitive and psychological recovery.
  • Utilize and supervise Rehabilitation Assistants or Kinesiologists during service delivery.
  • Collaborate with doctors, healthcare providers, employers and insurance adjusters to optimize outcomes.
  • Conduct worksite-based services, including ergonomic assessments and return-to-work planning.
  • Formulate detailed reports and recommend services based on assessment findings.

Your RoleAs an Occupational Therapist you will:
  • Provide disability management services as part of a community based interdisciplinary care model.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
