Job summary

neurohappy developmental supports, inc is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis with after-school and weekend hours. The role offers the flexibility to work from home and in the community, with access to mentorship and leadership support.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support children and families in daily living, sensory processing, self-regulation, and participation goals, while documenting services and engaging in ongoing

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
  • Registered and in good standing with ACOT (Alberta College of Occupational Therapists).
  • Experience supporting children and families, ideally in community-based settings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to affirming, inclusive, and family-centred practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client- and family-centred OT services in home, community, and virtual settings.
  • Support children and families with skill/knowledge development, sensory processing, self-regulation, daily living, and participation goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, PTs, behavior consultants, psychologists, and developmental aides.
  • Document services in compliance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, mentorship, and ongoing professional learning.
