Lifemark Health Group in Kelowna, BC, seeks an Occupational Health/Occupational Medicine Physician Consultant for a casual/part-time, independent contractor role. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and an hourly compensation model of $200–$250 per hour, with potential fee-for-service.

The clinic supports scheduling flexibility and a diverse caseload. Board-certified physicians with BC licensure, concussion experience, and occupational medicine training are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine, licensed to practice in BC.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC.
• Current personal liability & malpractice insurance.
• 5 years' experience as a treating Physician.
• Completion of courses in Occupational Medicine (Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine or American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine) or (Certified Independent Medical Examiner) an asset.
• Sports Medicine Diploma an asset.
• Experience assessing/treating concussions.

Responsabilités

• Medical Assessment services.
• Multidisciplinary Concussion management program.
• Pre-employment testing.
• Completion of employment medicals to ensure safety for work.
• Provide second medical opinions to clarify diagnosis and specify rehabilitation recommendations.
• Delivering medical examinations within an interdisciplinary team framework.
