Job summary

Headwaters Health Care Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Obstetrics Department on a temporary part-time Level 2 basis. The role involves delivering expert obstetric nursing care and ensuring patient safety during labour and delivery in a community hospital setting.

The successful candidate will hold CNO registration, show obstetric experience, and participate in fetal health surveillance and neonatal resuscitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Recent obstetrics experience including labour and delivery.
• Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour Program completed within last 2 years.
• Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Nurse within the Obstetrics Department.
• The Registered Nurse is accountable for regular part-time Level II duties and adherence to nursing standards.
