Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Maple Ridge, BC is hiring a Nutritionist Specialist to join our World Class Team. You will assist customers with natural health products, provide nutrition and recipe suggestions, and support in-store health events and product demonstrations.

The role involves inventory management in the health department, maintaining appealing planograms, and coaching team members for excellent service. Open availability for 40 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in retail Wellness and cross-selling.
• Knowledge of health and vitamin products and services; ability to demonstrate product use.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers.
• Passion for outstanding service and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist, answer questions and provide information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.
• Provide product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.
• Support coordination of in-store health events and related programs and demonstrations.
• Inventory management in health department including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning, and organization.
• Set up in-store promotional displays and maintain health department planograms.
• Coach and mentor team members within the department.
