Save-On-Foods is hiring a Nutrition Specialist at Orchard Plaza in Kelowna, BC. This part-time role requires openness to 40 hours weekly, providing guidance on natural health products and nutrition to customers.

You will assist with in-store events, inventory, displays and planograms, while coaching staff to ensure excellent service standards and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in retail wellness and cross-selling.
• Knowledge of health and vitamin products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and provide information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.
• Provide product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.
• Coordinate and facilitate in-store health events and other related programs and services including food and product demonstrations.
• Inventory management including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department.
• Support with setting up in-store promotional displays and maintaining planograms for the health department.
• Coach and mentor team members within the department to support their ongoing development.
