Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Nutritionist Specialist for our Orchard Plaza location in Kelowna, BC. The role focuses on advising customers on natural health products and nutrition solutions, while supporting in-store events and health programs.

You will manage inventory, maintain health department displays, and coach team members to deliver exceptional service. Strong communication and a passion for wellness are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Nutritionist or equivalent credentials.
• Retail wellness experience and ability to cross-sell.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and provide information on natural health products and solutions.
• Provide product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.
• Assist with in-store health events and product demonstrations.
• Inventory management for the health department including stocking and displaying products.
• Set up in-store promotional displays and maintain planograms.
• Mentor and coach team members within the department.

We are hiring for a Nutritionist Specialist at our Orchard Plaza location in Kelowna, BC.

The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting, answering questions and providing information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.
• Providing product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.
• Supporting the coordination and facilitation of in-store health events and other related programs and services including food and product demonstrations.
• Inventory management including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department.
• Supporting with setting up in-store promotional displays.
• Maintaining planograms for the health department.
• Coaching and mentoring team members within the department to support their ongoing development.

You have:

• Experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in retail Wellness and cross-selling.
• Knowledge of various health and vitamin products and services available with the ability to effectively demonstrate use of products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and engage with customers on a regular basis.
• Passion for outstanding service.
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Sense of humor and a fun attitude at work.
• A personal commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Compensation Details:

$21.00 - $23.50

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
