Job summary

Aramark is recruiting a Nutrition Manager for a Long-Term Care facility located in Woodbridge, ON. This four day per week role directs the food service department to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met within budgets and legislative parameters, with daily interaction with other department heads, residents, families and contractors.

The Nutrition Manager will participate in managerial activities to ensure efficient operation of the Home, supporting Nutra Services and Aramark's expansion

Qualifications

• CSNM active membership required.
• Graduate of accredited Food and Nutrition Management Program.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Food and Nutrition (alternative education).
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in LTC or Senior Living.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Food Services department with direct reports to meet residents' nutritional needs within budgets and legislative parameters.
• Adopt Aramark processes, understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends.
• Educate teams on levers to improve margins.
• Drive value through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management.
• Maintain P&L accuracy and follow health, safety, wage and hour policies.

Aramark is recruiting a Nutrition Manager for a Long-Term Care facility located in Woodbridge, ON. This is a four (4) day per week position. The Nutrition Manager is responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the food service department to ensure the nutritional needs of each resident are met within established budgets and existing legislative parameters. There is daily interaction with other department heads and employees, residents, families, and contractors.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Food Services department in conjunction with direct reports and coordinates food service activities to meeting the nutritional needs of the residents in accordance with budgets and legislative parameters.
• Adopt Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends
• Educate teams on key levers to improve margins
• Bring value through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
• Follow Operational Excellence fundamentals by maintaining food and labour initiatives
• Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of P&L statements
• Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations relating to health, safety, wage and hour.

Qualifications

• Must be an active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Food and Nutrition Management Program
• Alternative education is a Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Food and Nutrition
• A minimum of 2 years’ management experience including administration, and supervision in a Long-Term Care or Senior Living setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, management, the residents, and Client representatives

The pay range for this position is $42,436.00 - $52,621.00.
