Job summary

The Strait Regional Centre for Education invites applications for a Pre-Primary Lunch & Bus Ground Supervisor at CB Highlands Edu Centre Academ. The role involves supervising students before and after school, during lunch, and while boarding or alighting the bus, under the guidance of the principal or designate.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, ability to provide care to students, CPR/First Aid cert, strong communication skills, and a commitment to SRCE policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to provide personal and physical care to students.
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR or willing to obtain prior to employment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to comply with SRCE policies and procedures.
• Experience working with children or youth in a professional or volunteer capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for students before and after school, during lunch and noon hour.
• Supervise students getting on or off the bus before and after school.
• Report any problems to the principal or designate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
