A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk to support patient care operations. The role involves clerical duties such as transcribing orders, coordinating appointments, and maintaining patient charts. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and relevant training.

Reporting to the Manager or designate and under general supervision, this position performs a variety of clerical duties related to the operation of a patient care area. Responsibilities include acting as a communication link for the Unit by transcribing and processing physicians' orders, communicating with other departments and hospitals, coordinating patient appointments, arranging tests and receiving results, receiving and directing visitors, answering calls, assembling and maintaining patient charts, and performing keyboarding and data entry tasks.
Grade 12, medical terminology, graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program, plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
