Job summary

Toronto Metropolitan University’s Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing is seeking a Professional Practice & Simulation Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the Nursing skills lab, aligning evolving curricula with health care needs and supporting student learning through clinical practice labs.

You will collaborate with faculty, manage lab equipment and inventory, provide technical support, and contribute to accreditation processes while fostering an inclusive, diverse learning environment

Qualifications

• Completion of a Masters of Nursing degree.
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science and Nursing degree (RN) from a nursing program approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• A current member of CNO and entitled to practice with no restrictions.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Professional Practice RN with clinical teaching, remediation and lab coordination.
• Knowledge of nursing curricula and medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Nursing skills lab and align with evolving curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty to support student learning and remediation in clinical labs.
• Develop and manage inventory, equipment, and procurement for labs and simulations.
• Provide technical support to ensure lab and simulation services run smoothly.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication with students, staff, and stakeholders.
• Participate in committees and support accreditation processes.
