Responsibilities

• Teach nursing competencies in clinical practice labs and supervise students in hospital or community settings.
• Assign students to provide direct patient care and assess skill level.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance to ensure standard-of-care.
• Supervise students (typically 6; up to 12) in clinical areas.
• Attend orientation at clinical sites and assist course leaders with coursework.
