Nursery Labourer

Position Summary:

We’re looking for multiple hardworking, reliable individuals to assist with the care and maintenance of our plants from early spring through the growing season. This role involves a variety of hands‑on tasks such as pruning, potting, planting, and general plant care. You will be part of a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment where no two days are the same. Work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions, so enjoying physical, outdoor work is a must. Evening and weekend shifts may be required depending on weather and seasonal needs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general nursery tasks including planting, potting, pruning, staking, and harvesting.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards while meeting daily targets.
• Follow all health, safety and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend and squat for extended periods.
• Dependable and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the nursery (location is not accessible by public transit).

Wage Range: $17.95 - $19.00
