Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a General Visiting Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide community nursing care across a designated area in Ontario. You will perform patient assessments, implement and monitor care plans, and maintain accurate patient records during scheduled home visits.

The role supports autonomy, travel to patient residences, and a focus on long-term therapeutic relationships with patients. Shifts include mornings and evenings, with on-call coverage as needed, and a maternity-leave

Qualifications

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.

You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.The following vacancies are available:Morning shift, 8am to 4pm, on weekdays and alternating weekends. (Temporary 1-year Maternity Leave contract)Evening shift, 2pm to 10pm, on weekdays & alternating weekends.
