The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's Women’s Health Clinic at 419 Graham is seeking an experienced Extended Practice Nurse to provide leadership and specialized clinical expertise in women's health, health education, and counselling, while guiding approved community development initiatives.

This 0.6 FTE, in-person role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work to deadlines, and a commitment to anti-oppressive health care practices within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proof of registration as an Extended Practice Nurse with CRNM
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a community health setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Satisfactory Criminal Record check and Child Abuse Registry check

Position Summary:

This position is responsible and accountable for providing leadership and specialized clinical expertise in health care, health education, and counselling related to women’s health as well as managing the coordination of approved community development initiatives and activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills and be able to work to strict deadlines while contributing to a professional working environment.

• Proof of registration and certification with the College of Registered Nurses as an Extended Practice Nurse
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a community health setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Satisfactory Criminal Record check and Child Abuse Registry check
