Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in a community pharmacy setting. The role focuses on vaccination administration, health assessments and patient education within a local store environment.

The nurse will assess health status, deliver vaccines, support travel health needs and collaborate with the pharmacy team to expand nursing services for patients and communities.

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec) and travel health.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and provide vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster.
• Identify and offer vaccines based on travel destination.
• Offer services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Provide instruction on devices like glucometers and blood pressure monitors.
• Welcome patients professionally and work with the pharmacy team to develop nursing services.
