Job summary

Green Shield Canada is seeking a registered nurse (RN/RPN/LPN) to provide consultation, health teaching, and referral support within our health services programs. The role includes virtual nursing assessments, program development, and collaboration with clinicians to expand service delivery.

The position supports scheduling, documentation, reporting, and training for practitioners, with a focus on delivering high-quality care across diverse clinical settings. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be RN, RPN, or LPN with current status in provincial college
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
• Registered and in good standing with Provincial College

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, health teaching and referrals to support client outcomes
• Conduct virtual nursing assessments through the Collaborative Care model with recommendations
• Assist in program development, implementation and delivery of Health Services including training and follow up
• Support Nursing team as programs expand, aiding with process flows and service standards
• Help with training for practitioners and ensure treatment/reporting expectations are met
• Schedule assessment/treatment sessions and document interactions and reports
• Monitor compliance, progress, attendance and engagement of clients in programs
• Review reports and provide timely updates to referring sources
• Develop training materials, patient resources and webinars

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Base Salary: CAD $59,688.00 - 91,109.00

• Providing consultation, health teaching and referral to support improved client outcomes within our programs.
• Providing virtual nursing assessments through the Collaborative Care model; these include nursing recommendations and interventions
• Assisting with the program development, implementation and delivery of Health Services. This includes assess and refer, health teaching, policy implementation recruitment of practitioners, and client follow up.
• Supporting the Nursing team as the program expands/evolves, assisting with the creation of process flows, forms, and service standards.
• Assisting with specialized training for the practitioners providing care within these programs and supporting those clinicians in the expectations surrounding treatment and reporting.
• Being responsible for scheduling assessment/treatment sessions, documenting all interactions with all stakeholders, and providing appropriate reporting updates as required by Inkblot service standards.
• Monitoring compliance, progress, attendance and engagement of all clients engaged in the treatment programs.
• Reviewing all reports received and providing timely reporting to the referring source.
• Development of training materials, patient resources and webinars.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications

• Must be RN (Registered Nurse), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Registered and in good standing with Provincial College
