We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate to join our team. The successful candidate will work in various settings including home care, visiting care agencies, hospitals, medical facilities, clinics, nursing homes, and homes for the aged. Willingness to relocate is a plus.

Tasks

1. Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
2. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment
3. Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment
4. Perform duties related to patient care and comfort
5. Perform personal care duties
6. Supply and empty bed pans
7. Take patients' vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
8. Serve meal trays and feed patients
9. Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
10. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments
11. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
12. Supervise patients' exercise routines
13. Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas
14. Maintain inventory of supplies
15. Bathe, dress, and groom patients
16. Transport patients between care facilities and in wheelchairs or stretchers
17. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
18. Collect specimens
19. Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
20. Administer first aid in emergency situations
