The Team
The Child and Youth Mental Health Kelowna team brings together a passionate and skilled group of mental health clinicians, support workers, and psychiatric nurses dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families. This multidisciplinary team provides free, confidential, and evidence-based mental health services that are culturally responsive, inclusive, and family-centered. With strong collaboration across healthcare, education, and community sectors, the team fosters an environment of support, ethical care, and work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those they serve.
The Role
As a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician, you provide mental health assessments, individual and group therapy, and case management to support children, youth, and families. Your work focuses on early intervention, ensuring young people receive the care they need to navigate mental health challenges. There is one (1) permanent position located in Kelowna.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in Kelowna and West Kelowna.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
