Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Registered Nurse in Manitoba to provide direct patient care under supervision and to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires CRNM registration, CPR and ACLS certifications, and active participation in a healthcare team. Experience in acute care is an asset; strong communication and professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized nursing diploma and/or degree program.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Scope of practice as documented in RHPA/Regulated Health Professions Act.

• Function as Nurse in Charge as directed by the Nursing Supervisor or Nurse in Charge
• Participate in Quality Service and Quality Improvement Programs
• Participate as a member of the health care team
• Participate in staff education and professional development

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized diploma and/or degree program in nursing
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
• Current CPR Certification
• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)/Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to foster good public relationships and effective working relationships
• Calm and confident manner during emergency and/or difficult situations
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required
• Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search
• Current Child Abuse Registry Check
• Current Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Previous acute care experience an asset
• ACLS an asset
• Active participation in professional associations such as Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred
