Job summary

GHD is seeking a Nuclear Quality Lead to establish and sustain a nuclear QA program while supporting project delivery across Ontario. You will lead audits, mentor QA teams, and ensure compliance with CSA N286, N299.1-16, and ISO standards in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.

You will serve as the primary QA interface with clients and regulators, guiding qualification activities and continuous improvement across a growing nuclear portfolio. Travel across Ontario is expected.

Qualifications

• 10-20 years of quality management, engineering, or project management experience within the nuclear industry.
• In-depth knowledge of CSA nuclear standards (N286, N299.1, etc.) and ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Professional designation (P.Eng., CQE, Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Nuclear Quality Management System per CSA N286 and CSA N299.1-16.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and surveillance activities; coordinate client and third-party audits.
• Mentor QA/QC managers and project teams; drive training and competency programs.
• Review deliverables to ensure QA/QC compliance with standards and project plans.
• Support procurement QA, supplier qualification, and approved supplier programs.
