GHD is seeking a Nuclear Quality Lead to establish and sustain our nuclear QA program, interfacing with clients, regulators, and partners across Canada. You will lead QA program development, audits, and capability-building to support the growing nuclear project portfolio.

The role emphasizes senior quality leadership, regulatory interpretation, and strategic governance, with travel across Ontario to supporting sites. A strong background in CSA/NQA standards and ISO series is essential.

Qualifications

  • 10–20 years of quality management, engineering, or project management experience in nuclear industry.
  • Deep knowledge of CSA nuclear standards (N286, N299.1) and ISO 9001/14001/45001.
  • Experience with ASME nuclear codes (Section III, IV, NQA-1) and related international standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of the Nuclear Quality Management System per CSA requirements.
  • Manage internal audits, supplier qualification, and client-specific QA activities.
  • Mentor QA/QC managers and project teams; drive training on QA expectations.
  • Review deliverables for QA/QC compliance and assist in quality plans and client audits.
  • Support project planning, execution, and governance for nuclear projects.
