The FMC Nuclear Cardiology department is responsible for providing high-quality services and is committed to excellence in care. We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is detail-driven, thrives in a collaborative environment, and provides safe, patient-centered care. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology, using equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.

Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual, utilizing various equipment to diagnose and monitor diseases.

• FTE: 1.00
• Hours per Shift: 7.75
• Shift Pattern: Days, Saturday/Sunday off
• Salary Range: $35.45 - $46.69
• Start Date: 01-JUL-2025
• End Date: 01-JUL-2026

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT)

Additional Qualifications:

• Current CT and Contrast Media Enhanced practice designation with ACMDTT
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• CTIC Certification
• Minimum two years clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Experience in Nuclear Cardiology imaging procedures and Cardiac/Coronary CT angiography
• High understanding of HIS/RIS, PACS, and Connect Care systems
