The salary range for this position is CAD $36.69 - $45.81 per hour.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Nuclear Medicine, the Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring compliance with professional standards and departmental policies. Responsibilities include patient preparation, operation of nuclear medicine equipment, monitoring during procedures, and handling radiopharmaceuticals. Routine quality control, safety monitoring, and isotope transportation are also key duties.
Education, Training, and Experience
Certification with CAMRT (Nuclear Medicine), BCLS (CPR), valid BC Driver’s License (travel required).
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of PACS, safety procedures, Canadian Nuclear Safety regulations, and ability to perform radioisotope examinations. Effective communication, independence, workload planning, CPR skills, computer proficiency, and physical capability are essential.
