Job summary

CarePartners in Woodstock seeks a NSWOC-certified RN to deliver wound and ostomy consultations in clinic and community settings. The role emphasizes a flexible schedule and autonomy, with full-time hours included in a two-week rotation, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Ideal candidates hold NSWOC certification, have extensive wound/ostomy experience, and possess a valid driver’s license. Strong English communication and ISO-compliant background checks are required.

Qualifications

• RN in good standing with CNO registration.
• NSWOCC certification completed.
• Multiple years of wound/ostomy care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prevent, and intervene in wound infections and ostomy care.
• Provide lower leg assessment and ostomy care.
• Apply evidence to practice from wound care literature.
• Set time-specific goals with client and caregiver.
• Perform CSWD and other debridement methods.
• Manage edema with appropriate bandaging.
• Monitor adjunctive therapy for complex wounds.
• Ensure safety by following policy and standards.
• Collaborate with nursing team for comprehensive care.
• Conduct holistic assessments using multiple information sources.
