Job summary

Hexagon Positioning+ division is seeking an experienced NPI Supply Chain Project Coordinator (Permanent Part-Time) to accelerate time-to-market for new products. You will work with product managers, engineers, and suppliers to develop and execute practical NPI plans, manage risks to schedule, cost, and quality, and ensure a smooth transfer from NPI to production.

The role requires strong procurement and planning experience in manufacturing, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience of procurement, planning, and sourcing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and negotiating skills in dealing with engineering, supply chain, suppliers and operations.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized with excellent written and oral communication skills and keen attention to detail.
• Experience with MS Office, MS Project, Excel; experience in continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional NPI meetings to track progress, timelines, deliverables and action items.
• Coordinate tactical purchasing activities with design engineering and project management.
• Manage supplier material escalations, sourcing, and input on new requirements.
• Report KPIs and maintain data in SOWs, ECOs, and ERP systems.
• Support RFQs, build an accurate NPI build plan, and communicate risks.
• Coordinate PCBAs and prototypes with contract manufacturers and shop floor.
