Job summary

The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) seeks a Territorial Manager, Mental Health & Substance Use Nursing in Yellowknife to lead organized MH and SUD nursing services for residents of the NWT. This role drives common, high-quality practices aligned with DHSS policy and NTHSSA strategy.

Applicants should have nursing leadership experience, budget management skills, and senior clinical expertise in mental health and substance use services, with CANNN registration

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with 5 years clinical experience including 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Master’s in Nursing with 3 years clinical experience including 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Eligible for CANNN registration.
• Equivalencies considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across community, primary care, public health, and hospital settings.
• Oversee mental health and substance use nursing programs to ensure consistent, high-quality care across the NWT.
• Provide leadership for addictions and recovery-oriented practice and program evaluation.
