Job summary

The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) is recruiting an LPN for Medicine at Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife. Qualifications

• LPN Certificate and a minimum of one year of experience.
• Must be licensed with GNWT Registrar of Professional Licensing.
• Proof of immunization in accordance with public health practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certifications including Immunizations, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, CPR, and related training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process to deliver individualized, holistic care.
• Support patients in achieving optimal health in illness, injury, or end-of-life care.
• Facilitate patient and family teaching related to illness, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and evaluate patient care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
