Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited in Iqaluit, Nunavut, is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead municipal and community infrastructure projects in a seller-doer role, balancing design excellence with client development.

You will manage projects from planning through construction, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and build relationships with Government of Nunavut, hamlets, and Indigenous partners while growing Dillon’s Northern presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with NAPEG or eligible within six months of joining.
• Experience in municipal/infrastructure projects in Nunavut is highly valued.
• Ability to relocate to Iqaluit or reside in Nunavut is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and multidisciplinary coordination for northern municipal infrastructure.
• Act as Project Manager or technical lead, ensuring culturally respectful and technically sound projects.
• Conduct field reviews, site visits, and construction support in Iqaluit and remote Nunavut communities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and connect clients with Dillon’s technical capabilities.
