Job summary

Veolia is seeking a student-to-be-professional for a full-time 12-16 month role in Ontario. You will maintain the NORAM Price Book, support senior estimators with cost analysis, and generate procurement reports. Collaboration with proposal teams and suppliers will help deliver cost-saving outcomes.

You will collect pricing data, analyze data-driven insights, and help standardize procurement processes while contributing to continuous improvement in procurement estimation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge in engineering equipment and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Full-time availability for 12-16 months

Job Description

What your day might look like:

Maintaining the NORAM Price Book with current supplier data, supportingsenior estimators with cost analysis for proposals, generating procurementreports, and facilitating supplier meetings while identifying cost-savingopportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the maintenance and enhancement of the NORAM Price Book,ensuring accurate and current cost data for proposal development
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize pricing data from multiple stakeholdersincluding category management, procurement execution teams, andsuppliers
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with proposal teams tounderstand cost requirements and deliver timely solutions
• Support senior estimators to create comprehensive cost estimates andprocurement strategies for project proposals
• Maintain Procurement Estimation related REX (Return on Experience);track action plans and ensure resolutions being implemented
• Generate detailed procurement analytics and reports to support data-drivendecision making
• Coordinate and facilitate supplier engagement activities, including technicalpresentations and capability assessments
• Support the development and implementation of cost-saving initiativesthrough data analysis and market research
• Assist in the standardization of procurement estimation processes and bestpractices
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance the efficiency ofthe procurement estimation function

Compensation:

• The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $21.63 - $23.69 CAD.
