Child Development Institute in Toronto, ON, seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial operations, month-end close, budgeting, audits, and internal controls for a nonprofit organization with multiple funders. You will manage a talented accounting team and collaborate with program managers and leadership.

You hold a CPA designation, bring nonprofit finance experience, and excel in stakeholder communication and process improvements.

Competenze

• CPA designation required and nonprofit finance experience preferred.
• Experience leading and developing an accounting/finance team.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Concur is valuable for this role.

Mansioni

• Oversee month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and funder requirements.
• Lead audits and manage relationships with external auditors and funders.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, investments and tax remittances.
• Coach and develop the accounting staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and automate processes.
