Big Sisters BC Lower Mainland is seeking a strategic Senior Manager of Finance to guide financial planning, reporting, and donor compliance. You will lead budgeting, audits, risk management, and capital asset oversight, reporting to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

This is a hybrid, full-time role with a focus on governance and sustainability in a charitable context. You will administer Raiser's Edge, ensure CRA compliance, and collaborate with fundraising and operations to optimize

Qualifications

• CPA designation, or equivalent education and experience, is an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior financial management experience in non-profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, CRA charity regulations, and fund accounting.
• Experience managing government and private grants with reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with Sage and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership to CEO, SLT, and Board of Directors.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets for approval.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Supervise payroll, benefits, and HR financial aspects.
• Oversee annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Manage Raiser's Edge donor database and tax receipting.
• Support fundraising and grant reporting with financial insights.
