Job summary

GTR Worldwide is seeking a skilled boilermaker to assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, and related systems in Canada. You will read drawings, weld components, install piping, and perform tests while upholding strict safety standards on job sites.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment, interpreting job orders, and coordinating with crews to ensure precise fabrication and safe operations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of boilermaker apprenticeship, journeyperson trade certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience with welding and metal fabrication techniques and familiarity with common welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and fabrication specifications.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy manual tasks and work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, rigging and hoisting equipment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and ability to obtain required safety certifications and follow regulatory procedures.

Job Summary

Assemble, install and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels and related systems using metalworking and welding techniques. Interpret drawings and specifications, perform inspections and testing, and maintain safe working practices on job sites.

Main Duties
