Job summary

Gtrworldwide is seeking field inspectors to conduct building and civil structure inspections, verify compliance with codes and approved plans, and prepare clear reports. Travel between project locations is required.

You will review plans, permits, and change orders, identify violations, take measurements and samples, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and permitting authorities to ensure timely remedial work.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary diploma or degree in construction technology, civil engineering technology, architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years of practical experience in construction, building inspection, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and construction regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and permit documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work on construction sites, including comfort with outdoor work and travel between project locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at various stages of construction to assess workmanship, materials, and adherence to approved drawings.
