Job summary

RONA in Grimsby, ON is seeking a Receiving and Handling associate to turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate flow to store shelves. You will sort and unpack products, operate forklifts, and ensure space is available for shipments while keeping inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.

• Proficiency with material handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
