Job summary

The O’Neill Centre in Toronto is seeking a part-time Registered Practical Nurse for night shifts. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, complete assessments, and contribute to care planning in a team-based LTC environment.

The role emphasizes patient-centred care, documentation accuracy, and adherence to FLTCA and CNO guidelines. Qualifications include active CNO registration as an RPN, CPR/BLS, and a current Vulnerable Sector Check.

Qualifications

• Current General Class registration with CNO as an RPN.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (within six months) or willingness to obtain.
• Proof of vaccines as required by employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Complete nursing assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Communicate status changes to residents/SDMs and follow up as needed.
• Document accurately in alignment with CNO standards and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per policy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident goals.
