Job summary

Smith Creek Village in West Kelowna, BC, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team. You will provide clinical leadership, support residents with complex conditions, and foster a safe, person-centred environment under the Wellness Model of Care.

Two 0.734 FTE RN positions are available on a 6-week rotating schedule under the BCNU collective agreement, averaging about 29.4 hours per week with 8-hour night shifts (2230–0630).

Qualifications

• BSN degree and current or eligible BC registered nurse status with BCCNM.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Experience as a nurse in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care following professional standards.
• Conduct resident assessments and manage unstable/acute conditions.
• Administer and review medications and nursing interventions.
• Lead development and evaluation of person-centred care plans.
• Provide guidance to licensed practical nurses and care team.
