Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for the second shift (11:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) to inspect materials, parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings and specifications, and to support cross-functional teams in implementing corrective actions. You will release NCRs, maintain electronic inspection records, and participate in daily QA meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming quality control of parts and products against drawings and specs.
• Perform pre-shipment QC to ensure production orders meet requirements and customer expectations.
• Release Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) with root causes and effects.
• Maintain electronic records of inspection results and participate in QA meetings.
