Job summary

Bimeda is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Beaverdale, Cambridge facility to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities on the night shift. You will oversee production personnel, ensure adherence to cGMP/GDP standards, manage inventory, and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

You will coach a diverse team, maintain schedules, monitor performance metrics, and partner with safety, quality, and operations to meet patient‑facing deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Aseptic manufacturing experience is an asset.
• University or college degree required.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA and Health Canada regulations is an asset.
• Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Exposure to problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong technical aptitude and leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
• Experience with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production to meet specifications within sterile/aseptic environment.
• Manage inventory of critical supplies to support production.
• Maintain and optimize production schedules and performance metrics; reduce downtime and waste.
• Coach and develop employees; implement SOPs and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide training to production staff to ensure competence and compliance with cGMP/GDP standards.
• Ensure deviations are reported and investigated with corrective actions.
• Oversee safety, health and environmental procedures and compliance.
• Develop relationships with peers and cross‑functional teams to improve processes.
