Job summary

Ryder in Winnipeg, MB is hiring a Material Handler II. This full-time, 42-hour week role involves transferring products in the warehouse, operating powered equipment, and performing inventory counts.

Shifts are 12-hour, Sunday to Tuesday 7:00am–7:00pm and Wednesday 7:00am–1:00pm, with a $0.50 shift premium on top of a $22.50 per hour wage. Responsibilities include pulling orders, reading WMS instructions, staging shipments, and maintaining product accountability.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting basic instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to input data into computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Read, interpret and apply WMS order instructions.
• Stage orders and verify pallets and locations.
• Identify and report process errors and damaged products.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• May train others on warehouse tasks and lift equipment.
