Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is hiring a Material Handler II to accurately move and stage product within the warehouse using powered equipment and to perform inventory counts.

The full-time, permanent role features 12-hour shifts (42 hours/week), Wednesday 1:00pm–7:00pm and Thursday–Saturday 7:00am–7:00pm, with wage of $22.50 per hour plus a $0.50 shift premium. The company offers a strong benefits package, PTO, retirement plans, and a safe, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year or more powered industrial lift experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification required.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Read, interpret and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify pallets and stages.
• Identify and address potential process errors to protect the customer.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain security in the warehouse.
• May train others in warehouse functions and operate lift equipment.
