Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a full-time supervisor to lead shift operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role offers a wage of $68,000 per year with Sunday to Thursday, 9:00pm–5:00am shifts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year of direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and procedures for the shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and recognition.
• Promote Diversity and Inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Execute performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives.
