Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Ontario seeks a Licensed Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment including packaging lines. You will handle preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and contribute to GMP compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in millwright/maintenance, Red Seal or equivalent, and flexibility for evenings and weekends on a night shift. Excellent CMMS utilization is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Millwright or Maintenance technician.
• Certified NOC 7311 or Red Seal (433A, 442A, 309D) required.
• Experience with packaging/food equipment is an asset.
• Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, HMIs and controls preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Machining skills (lathe/mill/drill) and rigging experience are assets.
• Ability to work afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide fixes.
• Lead compliance with Health, Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and data in CMMS.
• Assist external contractors and ensure GMP compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
